Design Team Friday!

Good Morning! I want to let everyone know why I have been MIA. My husband came down with strep and the flu two weeks ago and it swept through all of us, except my littlest guy who just got a little cold. So these past two weeks have been nothing but getting well and talking care of everyone. I have not had ANY time to get into my crafting space and do anything! Everyone is on the mend now so I hope to be getting back VERY soon. I also have some stamp sets I have been waiting to release as well! Thank you to everyone who left nice well wishes over on my FB page!!

My name is Sara, I just got married to my high school sweetheart in June, we have been together for about 7 1/2 years now! I got my Cricut Expression about 3 years ago as a birthday gift from my husband, that's when I really got into crafting. I had always liked scrapbooking, but never had a place to leave my stuff set up. After I got my Cricut we made a little area in the closet under our stairs and I was able to get into it a lot more! I started my first blog about a year ago and love sharing my creations! I just got a Cricut Imagine, so be on the lookout for many more fun projects with my Imagine and Lauren's stamps!! Aloha, I am Dawnica a mom of 6 beautiful & wonderful children.  I have been lucky enough to be able to work from home helping my husband with our small business. I have always loved crafting since I was little, but only got into scrapbooking 2 years ago when I got my cricut for my birthday.  I am now addicted and would love spending all my time crafting. But, duty calls 95% of the time, so the little free time here and there I spend with my addiction.  A lot of days you will find me trying to craft with my little man (my 2 year old) on my lap "helping" me. I am thankful for Lauren giving me this great opportunity in her new endeavor, and am so excited to be a part of it.

Hi,  My name is Taylor.  I am in 7th grade and have been crafting for years.  I love to paint and have a huge collection of Sharpies.  When my mom started scrapbooking a few years ago, I did too.  I love to use the Cricut (and now the Imagine) to make little treats and cards for my friends.  I am so excited to be on Lauren's first design team!

My name is Erin and I am a 35yr old stay at home mom to two beautiful children. My daughter is almost 6 and my son is almost 5. I have always loved all sorts of arts and crafts ever since I was a child. I have done a little bit of this and a little bit of that. I began scrapbooking & paper crafting about 4yrs ago when my kids were 1 & 2. A friend of mine was showing me some of the scrapbooks she had made of her children and I wanted to try it out for myself. Well, as they say "It was all downhill from there." Paper crafting got me hook, line and sinker. I got my first Cricut about 9mos later and I never looked back. I love to watch how to/YouTube videos and visit blogs for ideas and inspiration. I am very happy that I have a place to be able to share some of the projects I create and I love all the friends I've made along the way.

Hi, my name is Darlene.  I am a Preschool Director by day and a PaperCrafter by night!  I am the wife to a wonderful husband of 17 years and two beautiful daughters (one is on the DT).  I have been scrapbooking for about 3 years, but just started making cards and other things last summer.  Papercrafting has become my stress reliever.  I hope you enjoy all of our creations.

And here is my project

I used the Martha Stewart Valentines 6x6 paper pack. The butterfly is from April Showers Seasonal Cart, and the layer on the card base was cut with Spring Holiday Cards seasonal cart. The sentiment is from my 'Love' stamp set, twine and buttons are from Papertrey ink, and the card base is Recollections kraft cardstock. I finished my card off with some some distress ink in vintage photo and stitching with my Sakura gel pen in white.
