Christmas Gifts . . .

Hello everyone!! I finally feel like I'm ALMOST ready for Christmas. Still have some last minute things to tend to tomorrow and then I think I will be able to relax!! I just want to share with you how I decorated some treat bags and packaging for some homemade cards I am giving as gifts. For the treat bags I used the Gingerbread seasonal cartridge and kept it very simple.  For the homemade card case I used the reindeer from Create A Critter, two different faces from Peachy Keen Stamps Critter Faces and the sentiment is from My Pink Stamper 'Christmas Wishes' stamp set. Enjoy!!

Christmas Treats

Hello to all my new followers! It's SO nice to have you!! I have lots of fun projects coming up and a really neat announcement too!  I should be able to share that soon! I will be picking winners tomorrow from both my giveaways!

Here are some sweet treats for my son's 2nd grade class. These were pretty simple to make, with the help of my Grandmother! We had a pretty good assembly line going! 12x12 sheet of cardstock up into 2 inch strips. Scored at 6 1/2 and 6 7/8. Add your favorite patterned paper on top. We used a 1 inch circle punch to punch the hole for the candy canes and I adhered them with glue dots. Originally I was going to use ribbon around them but I was having a hard time being patient! :) The stamps are from My Pink Stamper 'Christmas Wishes' and Hero Arts Holiday set.  Enjoy!

Homemade Christmas Blog Hop

Homemade Christmas Blog Hop
Hello Everyone and welcome to the Homemade Christmas Blog Hop! If you came from Liz then you are hopping in the right direction. If not start with Crafting With Cristina cause you don't want to miss anything!

For my project I made a Christmas candy dish!!  I got this idea from my Grandmother, who I also got ALL my crafting gene's from. She is ONE VERY talented lady! I have four little kids running around the house all the time and I don't like anything around that they can brake, so I thought this was perfect. It's super simple and can be embellished anyway you like. You can also use this to put smaller gifts in, like stocking suffers. I going to put all their little stocking stuffer gifts in here, and decorate according to their likes!

Directions:
Start with a 12x12 piece of double sided patterned paper. Score at 4 inches on every side. At each corner score to make a triangle. Fold both ways at every score line. Pull your corners in together, punch a hole, add string and decorate! Super simple and quick.
*** I will put step by step directions on my Facebook Page with pictures!

I kept mine VERY simple because I have a lot of them to make but you can make them as fancy as you like!
Recipe:
K&Company Secret Santa stack
Simply Charmed Cricut Cartridge

Winner and a Card

Good Morning!!  I have the WINNER for the Jolly Holidays Cricut cartridge!! First let me say how much I ENJOYED reading everyones traditions! Wow!! They were awesome and give me some great ideas to start doing with my kids!  So on to the winner ........... Random.org picked #32!!

Cricut Matriarch said...
Already am friend on Facebook. Just added as a follower here. My favorite tradition is all about decorating the tree with my family. We have many ornaments which are all from trips or special occasions. The ornament is put on the tree by the person that owns it. Before they put it on, they must tell who gave it to them, what was the occasion or what trip is it from. By doing this, each of us remember everyone, past and present, in our lives or we reminisce about a fun family vacation. Oh yes, decorating the tree is absolutely my favorite!

Congrats!! Send me your address to fourtythirtyonecreations@gmail.com and I will get your prize out to you right away!!

I would also like to share a card I made: using my Copic markers (of course, I'm on a roll)
Have a great day everyone!!

Laying Nora - Two Cards

Good Morning Everyone!!

Here are two cards that I made using Laying Nora from C.C. Designs and my BELOVED Copic markers!!
They are simple and Cute and I hope you enjoy them!

For this card I used the Imaginisce Apple Cider Paper Pad, Papertrey Ink buttons and twine and my I-Rock with PINK gems!! The sentiment is from My Pink Stamper, Faithful Sayings stamp set.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

I heat embossed this stamp with Martha Stewart Clear embossing powder and colored in her flower with a Copic marker. I used DCWV Black Currant Stack and the Lattle Stack for the cardstock, added some Prima flowers, Papertrey Ink buttons and twine and my I-Rock with BLUE gems! Then I finished it off with a sentiment from My Pink Stamer stamps, Everyday Life.  Enjoy
